Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4 1954. O'Hara is the recipient of a number of prizes that include an award called a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was made as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. She was part of the main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the following year, O'Hara and Candy began working in the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her work as a comic actress as well as a writer. She was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for the Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were added to the Second City artistic board in 2022.
