Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th, 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) Coyote Ugly(2000), The Cooler(2003), A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010, and Lights Out (2016) are among her roles in films. Bello has been on TV in roles like Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000) as well as The Cooler (2003) The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), Michelle McBride (2016), as well as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane (2021-2021). Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She studied political science at Villanova University. Bello trained in acting in New York and continued to improve her skills after graduation. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello revealed in November 2013 that she had an affair of the same kind with Clare Munn, her former partner. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is Love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books 28 April 2015)
